Ascendant Ultra Ego is the advanced stage of Ultra Ego, strongest while you are at full PL. At a glance: - Role: Ultra Ego turned around, entered from inside Ultra Ego. - Best for: skill and combo fighters who keep their PL high, against NPCs. - Trade off: it drains God Ki twice as fast as Ultra Ego, and you weaken as you are worn down. - How to get it: defeat Future Zeno with Ultra Ego at full skill. The lower your PL when he falls, the better your chance. - Cost: God Ki to enter. How it plays: - Without Advanced Technique you hit hardest at full PL. Your damage stops falling at 50% PL; the damage you take keeps rising toward normal. - Your swings get a big boost plain Ultra Ego lacks, and cut through part of your target's armor. - Your opponent's swings can draw a retort, a harder swing of your own. You still take the blow. - Your skills come off cooldown early more often. skillinfo shows your Quick Recovery. - Against NPCs a big weapon makes every hit land harder. - Against NPCs your ordinary swings count your weapon in full up to 25 damage per STR point, then 25% of the rest. Tips: - Advanced Technique works here too: while you hold it you hit harder than at full PL and take your least damage, see Ultra Ego. - Retorts need you upright and not dazed, against the opponent you fight. - When your God Ki covers only Ultra Ego's drain, you step back to Ultra Ego. urevert does the same. - Against other players your weapon counts in full on your swings, and most skills and combos ignore it.

True Ultra Instinct is the advanced stage of Ultra Instinct that puts its power into your skills and combos. At a glance: - Role: the attacking stage of Ultra Instinct, entered from inside it. - Best for: fighters who lean on skills and combos. - Trade off: it drains God Ki twice as fast as Ultra Instinct. - How to get it: defeat Future Zeno with Ultra Instinct at full skill, for a chance to learn it. - Cost: God Ki to enter. How it plays: - Your skills and combos hit far harder than in Ultra Instinct, and your skills come off cooldown early more often (skillinfo shows it). - You keep dodging and countering, and can sidestep skills aimed at you. - Against NPCs your swings hit harder than in Ultra Instinct, while your counters usually hit softer. - Against NPCs your swings count your weapon in full up to 25 damage per STR point, then 25% of the rest: raise STR with it. - Latent Power from your racial combos is smaller than in Ultra Instinct. - urevert drops you back to Ultra Instinct. Tips: - If your God Ki runs short, you lose both forms at once. - The Grand Minister sends you to Future Zeno when you say future to him. - Against other players your weapon counts in full on your swings, but your swings and counters hit softer than in Ultra Instinct.

Ultra Ego is a God Ki form that hits harder and takes less damage the more you are hurt. At a glance: - Role: a comeback form for God Ki fighters. - Best for: fighters who keep fighting while badly hurt. - Trade off: your best damage comes when you are closest to falling, unless you hold the Advanced Technique charge. - How to get it: Lord Beerus teaches it after you defeat Ultra-Ego Exarion, or a Sphinx picks it when the character is made. - Cost: God Ki to enter, less as your skill grows, then a steady drain a Kaio or Demon can prepay by transfusing, see Transfuse. How it plays: - As your PL drops, the damage you take falls. Your damage rises as your PL falls below 50%, and above that it holds at its 50% PL strength. - Any combo you finish arms Advanced Technique. While you hold it you hit harder than at your best PL and take your least damage, whatever your PL. - Your next combo spends the charge to pierce armor and arms it again, so keep chaining. - The charge fades after 6 rounds with no combo, on a combo break and when the fight ends. - Against NPCs a big weapon makes every hit land harder. - At full skill Future Zeno can teach you Ascendant Ultra Ego. Tips: - prompt +c shows the charge as [AT: n], the rounds left. - Leaving the form, or running out of God Ki, drops the charge. - You can learn only one Ultra path: Ego or Instinct. - At low skill the focus can fail and still cost half the God Ki.

Ultra Instinct is a God Ki form that dodges your opponent's swings and answers them with counters. At a glance: - Role: a dodge and counter form for God Ki fighters. - Best for: fighters who win with their swings. - Trade off: it drains God Ki, which does not regenerate while you hold it. - How to get it: Lord Whis teaches it after you defeat UI Temporalis, or a Sphinx picks it when the character is made. - Cost: God Ki to enter, less as your skill grows. score shows your God Ki. How it plays: - Your swings hit far harder and cut through part of your target's armor, and so do most of your counters. - The higher your skill, the more swings you dodge, and each dodge earns a counter. - A finished combo of your own race awakens Latent Power: harder swings for 4 rounds. See Combos. - Against NPCs your swings count your weapon in full up to 25 damage per STR point, then 25% of the rest: raise STR with it. - Against NPCs a big weapon also lifts your skills and combos. - urevert leaves the form. At full skill Future Zeno can teach you True Ultra Instinct. Tips: - You dodge only the opponent you are fighting, and only while upright and not dazed. - You can learn only one Ultra path: Instinct or Ego. - At low skill the focus can fail and still cost half the God Ki. - Against other players your weapon counts in full on your swings, and most skills and combos ignore it.
