Focus buffs run out at the worst moments. Lasting Focus adds flat time to every timed focus buff and song affect you place on yourself, so you spend less of the evening topping them back up. THE FIVE RANKS: 1 point +10 minutes 3 points +20 minutes 6 points +40 minutes 9 points +80 minutes 15 points +160 minutes Each rank replaces the one before it, it does not stack on top, so the full ladder costs 34 points and grants +160 minutes. WHAT IT AFFECTS: Every timed focus buff, and every song affect, that YOU place on YOURSELF. It never lengthens a debuff, and it never extends a buff you put on someone else, so a group song still runs its normal time on everyone but you. Because the bonus is a flat addition it is worth far more to a short buff than a long one. Regenerate and the god ki buffs run five minutes, most buffs run twenty or thirty, and Forcefield runs sixty. WORKS WITH THE SWEEP: Most buffs extended this way are also buffs 'focus 'all'' tops up, and the sweep leaves a buff alone while more than half its duration is left. Longer buffs therefore mean fewer of them need refocusing on each sweep. The two lines are bought separately and neither requires the other. Kenjutsu and Iron Will are the exception, they gain the extra time but the sweep never casts them, so the stance you choose to hold simply lasts longer.
