keep unkeep

Usagekeep | keep <item> | keep <item> <container> | keep <n> <item> | keep all.<name> | keep all <filters> | keep worn | keep list <filters>
The keep command marks items you carry or wear as protected. A kept item cannot be dropped, junked, donated, sold, given, auctioned, listed on the market, stored in the clan warehouse, put in a workbench or any container you are not carrying, or used up as a crafting material, guarding against the accidental loss of valuable gear. Ways to keep: - keep alone lists everything protected, worn, carried and inside your containers. keep list legendary narrows the list. - keep sword marks one item you carry, or one you wear. - keep ruby satchel marks one item inside a container you carry or wear, or in a bag inside one. Not inside a corpse. - keep 5 senzu marks five of them. - keep all.sword marks every sword you carry. - keep all legendary marks every carried item matching the words the inventory lists take: legendary, celestial, set, tier 8, tier 5-7, usable, a slot like ear, name ruby or quality 10000. They combine, like keep all.sword tier 8. - keep worn marks everything you wear, keep worn legendary only the legendary pieces. A bulk command changes at most 500 items, repeat it to continue. Plain keep all is refused, name what to keep. Bulk forms reach the items you carry, not the inside of a container. unkeep takes every form above and removes the mark. Details: Kept items show a [Keep] tag in your inventory listings, and a Kept (protected) status line when you analyze them. Pieces saved in one of your gear sets get the same protection without the keep flag, see help gearsets. Kept copies of an item stack together on their own [Keep] line, they never share a line with unkept copies. What keep protects: - Trading: drop, junk, donate, sell, give, auction, market and clan warehouse store - Workbenches: a kept item cannot be put in a workbench, so it is never dismantled or vaporized by the idle timer. A kept item that still ends up on a workbench is returned to you when the bench dismantles or after a 2 minute hold, or left on the floor beside it if you are not in the game - Crafting: a kept item is never used up as a material, not by the make commands, makecomponent, cooking, contract deliveries, or clan and district building. The next unkept material is used instead, and you are told when only kept ones are left. - Containers: a bag, cooking utensil or any other container holding a kept item, even inside another container, is protected the same way. Take the kept item out first. - Containers you are not carrying: a kept item, or a container holding one, only goes in a container you carry. A chest, a corpse or a bag on the floor refuses it. Bulk commands such as put all workbench, drop all or give all skip kept items and containers holding them, then tell you how many they skipped. Use unkeep <item> to remove the protection when you do want to trade, discard, dismantle or craft with the item.
