The market system allows players to list items for sale with timed auctions. Unlike the auction system, multiple items can be listed simultaneously for other players to bid on. Basic Commands: Market - Display all current market listings Market detail <number> - Show detailed item information Market bid <number> <amount> - Bid on a specific item Market bid <number> min - Bid the smallest amount that takes the lead, 10% over the current bid, or the asking price if nobody has bid. If that would pass the buy now price, it bids the buy now price instead. Market history - Show the last 15 completed market sales, with the item, seller, buyer and price. A (L) marks a legendary item and a (C) marks a celestial one. Only items someone actually bought are listed here. This can be shortened. Market history <#> - Show one sale from that list in full: the item's stats as they were when it sold, and what was inside it if it was a container. Listing Items for Zenni: Market post <item> <hours> <price> - List item for zenni Duration: 1-12 hours, Price: minimum 1 zenni Listing Items for Tokens: Market post <item> <hours> token <price> - List for tokens Duration: 1-12 hours, Price: minimum 1 token Seller Options: Market buynow <number> <price> - Set instant buy price Market cancel <number> - Cancel your listing (no bids only) Details: How It Works: - Items are listed for a set duration (1-12 hours) - Players can bid during that time, highest bid wins - When time expires, winner gets item, seller gets payment - 10% market fee is deducted from seller's payment - Instant buy price allows immediate purchase Offline Features: - System works while you're offline - Automatic refunds when outbid (combined into single message) - Pending transfers await both players to log in - WARNING: All refunds expire after 24 hours if unclaimed - WARNING: Pending items expire after 24 hours if unclaimed Black Market Drops: - The Black Market seeds its own item onto the market from time to time, roughly once an hour, listed by CKMud - These drops open at a low zenni bid with a short 10 minute window, so watch the market and bid fast - Open to everyone, there is no power level or remort requirement to bid on or win a drop, zenni only Important Notes: - Maximum 10 listings per player - Item numbers may shift when items are sold/removed - Current bidder can outbid themselves at buynow price - Same Listing/Bidding restrictions as auction apply.
