Usage
flaunt [ooc|clan] - | flaunt view
| flaunt list Flaunt shows other players what one of your items does,
without you having to risk it on the market or the auction
just to let somebody read it.
It prints a compendium style card for the item, read from
the item itself, so a rerolled or upgraded piece shows what
it really is rather than its base stats.
Where it goes:
flaunt - - everyone in your room sees the card
flaunt clan
- - your clan sees the card, and a Warden
partner clan if your clan has one
flaunt ooc
- - announces it on OOC with a number
OOC works differently on purpose. A card sent to everybody
online would flood the channel, so OOC gets one line with a
number on it instead.
Reading an OOC flaunt:
flaunt view
- the card for that number
flaunt list - which numbers are still readable
- Flaunting never moves or gives away the item.
- Naming an item checks what you are wearing first, then what you
are carrying, then the room. 0.boot means the worn one. Items
inside a bag are not searched, flaunt the bag instead.
- In your room you can also point out an item lying on the ground.
On OOC and clantalk you can only flaunt what you hold or wear.
- An OOC number lasts 60 seconds. It keeps working even if you
sell the item or log off, because the card is a snapshot.
- You can hold 2 OOC numbers at once, a third releases your
oldest. Only the 20 newest are kept overall.
- There is a 30 second wait between flaunts.
- Flaunt a bag to show what is inside it, up to 25 items. A closed
container is not opened up for reading.
- ooc, clan, view and list may be abbreviated, so flaunt o
sword works. An item of your own called "ooc" or "list" is
reached by naming it on its own, as flaunt ooc.
- You do not need to be wearing a scouter.
