crescendo crevert

Usagefocus 'crescendo' | crevert
Crescendo is a held power state that drives your active stance to its fiercest form. Pure combat power, no stat grant. Enter and leave it at will. The focus itself can fail. Learning it: defeat Ultra Ego Exarion and return to Beerus, or defeat Ultra Instinct Temporalis and return to Whis. Each god answers only for his own rival. He teaches you on sight, nothing needs asking. Where a god ki race would be handed Ultra, a Konatsu is set on Crescendo instead. Entering: - focus 'crescendo', quotes required. A learned skill, so train it up. crevert steps back out, free. - Requires a held stance. Raised in or out of combat, holds until you step out. - Costs 500 ki at remort 0, falling 25 per remort to a floor of 250 at remort 10. - A failed focus costs half that, and still teaches you. - Ki smothering rooms fizzle it harmlessly, no ki spent. - Cadence plays no part in entry. What it does: - Autohit Peak: your stance's swing power jumps to its Crescendo lever, Iai 160% to 675%, Flow 80% to 338%, Iron 112% to 473%, Crescent 160% to 800%, plus a further x1.25 on every autohit. - Guaranteed Downbeats: every landed swing is a downbeat at the full x2.0. - Latent Power: the surge window strikes x1.6 harder. - Iai: Counterdraw answers hit x2.0 harder. - Flowing Water: skills, techniques and combos deal 300% to 600%. - Iron Body: riposte odds double, ripostes strike x3.0, Unbreakable tightens to 20% of max PL at full mastery. - Techniques: Iai Slash and Moonfall Strike deal x2.0. Cascade deals none of its own, its surge rides the doubled skill lever instead.
Key Notes: - Upkeep is a flat ki drain every tick, in and out of combat, on top of entry. 50 ki at 0 mastery of your current stance, falling to 25 at full. Flat, not a share, so a deep reserve holds it longer. - Your ki does not regenerate at all while it burns, and your ki flourish falls silent, so the drain steadily runs you down. - Ends when your ki runs dry, when you lose your stance, on death, or by crevert. It does NOT end when combat does. - No automatic entry, Crescendo rises only when you call it. - Your stat grant of power level, ki, damroll and hitroll lives in the stance itself and is always on, so Crescendo raises no max stats, only your fury. - Cadence keeps working underneath it. Bonus swings and the quickened beat follow the meter, and techniques still spend it.
