Majins and Bioandroids burn ki to stay Enraged, and the damage bonus of the state rises with the ki they have left. As the upkeep drains that ki, the bonus decays. Tempered Rage reshapes the curve without touching its peak, each purchase moves part of the bonus into a flat base that never decays, so your rage starts just as strong and fades far more slowly. Because the top of the curve is fixed, the first purchases are hard to notice at high ki and matter most once your ki runs low. Ki upkeep, ki regeneration while Enraged, and the Majin defense bonus are all unchanged, this does not make an Enraged state last longer. Only Majins and Bioandroids may purchase this line. Purchases are permanent, they survive remort and prestige, and there are no refunds.
