wardenship warden

Usagewarden, warden invite , warden accept | decline | end
An empire may name a single faction as its Warden, a sworn defender that fights for the empire's cause. A wardenship is a pact between the two leaders, and either leader may end it whenever they wish. Forming a wardenship: The empire's leader offers the pact with warden invite . The faction's leader answers with warden accept or warden decline. Either leader can later break it with warden end, and typing warden on its own shows where you stand. An empire keeps only one Warden, and a faction serves only one empire. An offer left unanswered for 24 hours cancels itself. What a Warden may do: While the pact holds, the faction acts as the empire in the district war. Its members may hunt down enemy saboteurs in the empire's districts and break their work with a solid blow, sabotage and capture rival districts on the empire's behalf, and repair the empire's own districts. A district a Warden captures flies the empire's colors, not the faction's, and repairs are paid out of the faction's own bank, not the empire's. If the empire keeps a broadcast tower, its Warden may run its propaganda broadcasts too, again on the faction's coin (see help broadcast). Because a faction has no war room, a Warden's sabotage lands at a flat double strength, hitting harder than even a maxed war room could. The cost: Standing with an empire means standing in its wars. A Warden's members become open to attack by rival empires wherever the empire's own members are, with no PK flag required. Speaking as one: For as long as the pact lasts the two clans share their clantalk, so a line spoken on either channel is heard by both, letting the allies plan together. The reward: In return a Warden draws 20% of the empire's district bonuses whenever it stands on the empire's territory, with the same planet wide or single district reach the empire itself enjoys. This stacks on top of the faction's own shop buffs. When it ends: A wardenship dissolves the moment either leader ends it, either clan is disbanded, or either clan is left with no leader and no one to take their place. After a leader ends a pact, both the empire and the faction must wait 24 hours before either can form a new one.
