mset
Usage
mset MSET is a powerful command that allows the immortal to
change various fields on the MOB specified. This
allows for fast editing or MOBS without entering the
OLC editor. This only works for MOBs that are
already in existence.
By typing mset alone you can see the various fields
available for editing. The MOB does not have to be
LOADED to change the fields, but if they are, they
MUST be PURGED and reloaded for any changes made to
show.
Specific Field Details:
NAME - This is the keyword to access MOB and should not
include ANY color codes.
SHORT - This is the name of the mob visible to the
player when in combat, or in scan, analyze.
LONG - This is what the player will see when in the same
room.
NOTE: When setting long with mset you only need to set
the describing phrase.
IE: mset 1000 is picking their nose here.
If the MOBS short is Joe it would make the
long. Joe is picking their nose here.
DESCR - This is used to show a detailed description when
the player looks at the MOB. Probably best to use
MEDIT for this still.
PL - Set the powerlevel on the MOB, like MEDIT setting PL
will autoset level/hitroll/damroll.
Be sure to save any zones after editing with fold command
MSET can only be used when the mob has PROTOTYPE flag
