Usage
MineScattered in mountain regions on the world map you can find all
sorts of boulders. These boulders can be mined with a pickaxe.
After so many attempts at mining the boulder will be depleted.
- Mining requires a pickaxe
- Every 10 minutes a single planets boulders are replenished
of random quality.
- The boulder's description indicates the resource quality.
- It is possible to over-deplete a planets higher quality ores
if lower tiers are not also mined.
- Provides STR XP determined by quality
- Rare chance to discover gemstones within ore veins
- Higher quality ore nodes produce gemstones with greater
potential for multiple bonus flags
GEMSTONE SPECIALIZATIONS:
Mined gemstones have different specializations affecting stats and AC:
* Balanced - All 4 stats at equal value, full AC
* Single-Spec - One stat boosted 4x, others become negative stats, AC reduced 75%
* Dual-Spec - Two stats boosted 2x each, other two set to 0, AC reduced 50%
Rarer gemstones may also have a Stalwart modifier (visible in name):
* Stalwart (+50% AC, -20% Stats) - Only affects armor and jewelry crafting
