mapexit
Usagemapexit connect [city|dungeon] | mapexit disconnect
The mapexit command creates and removes bidirectional map exits between
rooms using the DOWN direction with the MAPEXIT flag. These are typically
used to connect entrance rooms to world maps.
USAGE:
mapexit connect - Create mapexit to room (CITY sector)
mapexit connect city - Create mapexit to room (CITY sector)
mapexit connect dungeon - Create mapexit to room (DUNGEON sector)
mapexit disconnect - Remove existing mapexit
REQUIREMENTS:
- Current room must have ENTRANCE sector type
- Target room must have WORLDMAP room flag
- Neither room can have existing DOWN exit (unless it's a mapexit)
WHAT IT DOES:
- Creates bidirectional DOWN exits with MAPEXIT flag
- Sets ROOM_NOMOB flag on current (entrance) room
- Sets target room sector type (defaults to CITY)
- Marks both zones for saving
NOTES:
- Disconnect removes ROOM_NOMOB from entrance room
- Both 'city' and 'dungeon' can be abbreviated
- Shows current zone mapexit and planet settings after creation

mentors apprentice abandon tasks taskmap
Usageapprentice | abandon | train abandon | train task | look taskmap
Mentors are scattered around the universe, these special
NPCs allow you to apprentice under them and learn new
skills that would otherwise be unavailable to you.
When you have a mentor information about tasks, favor, and
skills associated with them can be viewed with the "train"
command.
Mentor Commands:
mentors - Shows a list of all mentors and their locations.
apprentice <mentor name> - This command allows you
to take on a new mentor when used in the same room as them.
Once you have maxed your favor with a mentor (5000) you can
apprentice back under that mentor from anywhere, you do not have
to travel to them. You can not do this while fighting.
abandon - This command will allow you to leave your current
mentor. Mentor data is saved for each mentor so you can freely switch
whenever you want.
train task - This command is used to accept a new task and
also to report a completed task. It can only be used in the same
room as your mentor.
train cooldown - This command allows you to change the
cooldown period between mentor tasks. The favor earned for a task
will vary depending on your cooldown. A lower cooldown will mean
less favor per task, while a higher cooldown will mean more
favor per task. Whenever you adjust cooldown you will have to
wait the full length of your new cooldown to receive a new task.
train abandon - This command can be used to abandon the
current task and reset the timer before the next one can be
accepted. It can only be used in the same room with the mentor.
Item tasks: when a mentor sends you to fetch an item they
hand you a hand drawn task map. look taskmap shows the room
the item was left in, the surrounding area with the spot marked,
and the exits leading away from it. The train display also
names the room for as long as the item is still out there. Once
you reach the area the item shows on your own map with the
same marker, only you can see it and only you can pick it up. The
marker is a T, or a scroll if your client uses UTF8. The map
is a sketch of the moment it was drawn, it does not follow anyone.
The map cannot be dropped, given, sold or bagged and it vanishes
along with the item when the task ends. Travel tasks, fetching an
item or hunting down a target, come with a longer clock than tasks
you can complete where you stand.
train <skill name> - Allows you to learn a
skill from your mentor if you meet the favor requirements.
Can only be used in the same room as your mentor.
At relationship/favor thresholds BUFFs are given dependant
on the mentor.
These buffs are stackable but only apply to your active mentor.
Buff 1 - Favor >= 1000
Buff 2 - Favor >= 2000
Buff 3 - Favor >= 3500
Buff 4 - Favor >= 5000
[X] - Locked
[O] - Unlocked
- If you already have a mentor, trying to apprentice under
another will show what skills/buffs the provide.
- You will not lose any favor with old mentors if you
switch.
- Any skills already learned will not be lost when
switching mentors.
- Some mentors are locked to specific races and can not be
your mentor otherwise. You will also not see their skills.
- Occasionally when requesting a task, the mentor will not have one, you will receive a shorter cooldown when this happens.
