fission
Usage
harness fissionFission is the Majin rage ability. The Majin tears their body
apart and reknits it into the chaotic Kid form, carrying a
grafted memory of every form they have ever mastered. When the
rage ends, the body flows back into the form it came from.
While Fission runs you ARE the Kid form, with its full native
damage, penetration and fragility, and your body is locked, you
cannot change forms or revert until it ends.
Requirement: Majin only, must be transformed, and you must
already qualify for the Kid form (50 Ultimate mastery and
Kid's Absorbed PL requirement)
Activation: harness fission
Rage cost: 75 at low average mastery, down to 40 at full
Duration: 10 rounds at low average mastery, up to 25 at full
Cooldown: 3 minutes, shortened when the rage ends early
Downside: your form is locked for the whole duration
The grafted aspects (each scales with THAT form's mastery):
- Fat: grafted damage reduction, 12% to 25%.
- Evil: grafted combo damage, x1.30 to x1.60,
stacking with Kid's own damage.
- Ultimate: grafted quick recovery, 12% to 25%.
- Kid: grafted damage multiplier, x1.10 to x1.30,
on top of the form's native damage.
Fat, Evil and Ultimate scale across 50 to 100 mastery,
since each had to reach 50 before Kid ever unlocked. Their
low number is what you have the moment Fission unlocks, and
everything above it is earned. Only the Kid band starts at
0 mastery.
Kid pays twice. You are IN the form, so its native damage and
penetration are the payoff at full strength, and Kid mastery
sharpens a grafted multiplier on top of that.
Duration and rage cost scale with the AVERAGE of all four form
masteries, so every mastery point you have ever earned keeps
mattering. Fission stacks with enrage, and pressing it while
enraged even sharpens the enrage rate for the duration, since
enrage keys off the Kid form.
