Help & getting started

Skill boost modules stack, but their combined boost for any one skill stops at a ceiling of 200%, a 3.00x damage multiplier. Firmware Ceiling raises that ceiling by a flat 20 per rank, ten ranks in all, from 200 at rank zero to 400 at rank ten, a 5.00x multiplier. THE TEN RANKS: Each rank costs one point more than the last, 3 points for the first rising to 12 for the tenth, 75 points for all ten together. WORTH KNOWING: Androids only, no other race runs skill boost modules. It only helps once your modules for ONE skill actually sum above 200. Check 'upgrades', a skill tagged [CAPPED] is losing value right now, and every rank hands some of it back. If nothing you wear is capped yet, better modules come first. The strongest boosts roll on legendary and celestial module drops, whose numbers land far above the common versions.
