Help & getting started

Every race is born with flaws as well as gifts. The Bloodline Purge lets you spend prestige points to shed one of those flaws permanently. The flaw vanishes from your 'traits' list, stops affecting you at once, and never returns. USING IT: pshop cleanse List the flaws your bloodline still carries pshop cleanse Burn one away, permanently Type the flaw name with no spaces, the way the list shows it, for example 'pshop cleanse glassjaw'. If what you type could mean more than one of your flaws, the shop refuses and lists them rather than guessing, so a mistyped name never spends your points. WHAT IT COSTS: Three things set the price, multiplied together. First, how bad the flaw is: 20 points Glass Jaw, Frail, Ki Fragile, Limp Wristed, Maladroit, Ki Impaired, Blighted 12 points Thin Skin, Ki Vulnerable, Feeble, Clumsy, Delicate, Ki Inept, Malaised, Slow Learner 8 points Dumb, Stubborn, Slow, Weak, Discouraged, Pacifist, Eversion 5 points Squeamish, Pyrophobia, Hesitant Second, how many you have already purged. Each purge costs far more than the one before it: 1st x1 2nd x2 3rd x4 4th x7 5th x11 6th x16 Third, how many flaws your race was born with. A bloodline carrying fewer flaws pays more for each one, so that no race reaches perfection far ahead of the rest: 6 flaws x1 5 flaws x1.2 4 flaws x1.5 3 flaws x2 AN EXAMPLE: An Android carries four flaws, so every purge is multiplied by 1.5. Their first purge of Ki Inept costs 12 x 1 x 1.5, which is 18 points. Their second purge of Clumsy costs 12 x 2 x 1.5, which is 36 points. Clearing all four flaws costs 210 points in total. A Kaio carries six flaws and pays no race multiplier, but three of theirs are the expensive kind, so clearing all six costs 364 points. IMPORTANT: The multiplier climbs with every purge, so the order you buy in changes your total. Purging your most expensive flaws first is always cheaper. The shop always shows the real price of every flaw before you buy. Hi Metabolism and Dehydrated are not sold here, the no hunger and no thirst upgrades already cover those and do it better. Purges are permanent, they survive remort and further prestiges, and there are no refunds.
