The use of Alias, Triggers and Scripts is allowed within reason at CKMud. There
are however a few rules and expectations to follow.
These rules primarily are in play when using automation or semi automation of
any extent to farm bosses. Use of the AUTOBOT command is always permissible on
standard MOBS.
- FULL automation on ANY BOSS is NOT allowed
- SEMI automation on QUEST BOSSES is NOT allowed
- SEMI automation on EVENT BOSSES is NOT allowed
- You must be ACTIVE
If an immortal is trying to talk to you, you should be
able to respond in a reasonably short amount of time.
- Semi automation to run bosses every reset is not allowed.
This is a multiplayer game, your actions should not
prevent others from being able to enjoy the game.
- Automation should not result in KILL/LOOT STEALING
- GAUNTLET BOSSES only affect you, so FULL automation IS PERMITTED
The above rules do not encompass every possible scenario. Use your best
judgement when using any Automation. A good rule of thumb being, your
automation should not interfere with anyone else actively playing.
In the event a problem arises
- We encourage players to peacefully resolve issues if possible.
- Use of BOUNTY system for BOSS/LOOT STEALING
- In extreme cases, immortal intervention can occur
- Muted, Frozen or Helled on offending character
- Character deletion in the worst cases.
