While ascended, a Kaio takes 10% to 35% less damage, by mastery. Shelter of the Kai extends part of that protection to your group. THE THREE RANKS: 25 points Allies take one sixth of your reduction 50 points Allies take one third of your reduction 75 points Allies take half of your reduction 150 points for all three. WORTH KNOWING: Kaios, while ascended only. At full mastery and rank three, each ally takes 17.5% less damage. Grouped allies in the same room only, never yourself, since your own ascension already protects you. With more than one sheltering Kaio, only the strongest applies. An asleep, stunned or linkdead Kaio shelters no one.
