Zeta Outpost Quest Guide

Step 1: Introduce Yourself to Commander Kryn

When you enter the Zeta Outpost, find Commander Kryn in the central room. Say "culprit" to offer assistance. He’ll give you a Training ID to enter the Training Quarters. Head north to unlock the gate and proceed upward.

Step 2: New Recruit and Investigation

Find Sergeant Corbin in the Training Quarters' central room. Say "understood" to receive a Tier 3 Training Sword, which you must wield. Fight Privates Lira, Orion, Dray, and Redd in the west rooms. After your promotion, Corbin will request Tiramisu, which can be purchased in South Capital on Earth.

Bring the Tiramisu to the Pastry Chef, who will give you Scrumptious Pudding. Deliver it to Corbin to receive a Standard Blaster. Use it at the Basic Firing Range (east) until you hit your target. Repeat at the Advanced Firing Range (south) with the Advanced Blaster. After another promotion, defeat two marksmen in the Advanced Combat Training rooms. Corbin will eventually spar with you. Defeat him for another promotion.

Step 3: Converse with Staff

Return to Kryn for instructions to converse with staff. Speak to the Pharmacist (south) and Medical Officer Seraphine (east). Seraphine will give you a Laced Senzu Bean. If she says, “She has nothing to report at this time,” converse with others in the Training Quarters first.

Step 4: Surveillance Quarters

Use the Surveillance ID to unlock the gate south of Kryn’s room. Equip the Camo Overalls from Surveillance Officer Blaine to avoid being insta-killed by turrets in the easternmost room. Spy on Defense Specialist Trask (northwest), then return to Blaine for a promotion. Once Trask respawns, converse with him to receive a bag of hemlock. Return it to Kryn.

Step 5: Digging Deeper

Equip the Camo Overalls and spy on the Pharmacist. Collect her dropped diary and give it to Marksman Voss (east). Learn that the Pastry Chef is the accomplice. Spy on the Pastry Chef, who will confess and give you a laced pudding. Deliver it to Corbin, capture him, and return to Kryn.

Step 6: Confronting Varek

Find Varek in the Outer Perimeter Defense area. Fight him until he retreats. Defeat his troops to power up and re-engage Varek with your strongest ki attacks. After killing him, collect his Cloak and head. Return the head to Kryn for your rewards: Tier 3 Legendary Boots and a Portable Gravitron.

To use the Portable Gravitron, use the "adjust" command while it’s in your inventory. It cannot be used if worn.
