Ultra Ego/Ultra Instinct Enrage and Overdrive Guide

Recommended PL: 1.5 Billion (my recommended PL; others might say otherwise).

Items of Interest

1. Spicy Chicken Nuggets from the bartender in Central Capital.
2. Instant Ramen Cup-o-Noodle from the South Capital Capsule Corner Market.

Getting Started

If you're looking to get Ultra Ego, Ultra Instinct, Enrage, or Overdrive, you'll need to head to the Other World Hakai Sanctuary. Use the survey command. If you have Instant Transmission, IT Joe to the overworld map. If you don't, recall to Earth and sense for Popo, where a portal above him will take you to the Afterlife.

Follow this speed-walk path (directions are east unless specified):

This will get you to King Kai's planet. Fly to the overworld map and use survey to locate the Hakai Sanctuary.

Choosing Your Mentor

Ultra Ego: Meet Beerus, who is waiting for Vegeta to bring him something from Central Capital. This is where you'll need the Spicy Chicken Nuggets.

Ultra Instinct: Visit Whis and give him the Instant Ramen Cup-o-Noodle. He will task you with killing Kid Buu.

Majin Vegeta/Kid Buu

Head to Babidi’s spaceship on Earth (use survey). Inside, head to the middle and down. Kill King Dabura, who has a chance to spawn Majin Vegeta and a 100% chance to spawn Innocent Buu. Innocent Buu can spawn Ultimate Buu, who can then spawn Kid Buu. If neither spawn, wait for a reset and try again.

Once you kill your target, return to Beerus or Whis with the required item to proceed.

Ultra Ego: The Labyrinth

After giving Beerus the Spicy Chicken Nuggets and saying "recommendation", you gain access to the Labyrinth. Speak to the Labyrinth Guardian dressed as a God of Destruction and give him Beerus’s recommendation.

1. Trial 1: Gatekeeper of Perseverance
   Defeat the shadows of Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, and Chiaotzu within 5 minutes. Return to the Gatekeeper to proceed.
2. Trial 2: Face Yourself
   Exarion's assistant will ask if you're ready to face yourself. Say "yes". Be prepared—your shadow is tough. Once defeated, return to the assistant to proceed.
3. Trial 3: Exarion (PL: 500,000,000)
   Defeating Exarion spawns Ultra-Ego Exarion (PL: 750,000,000). Clear nearby mobs before engaging to avoid being overwhelmed. Afterward, return to Beerus to learn Ultra Ego.

Optional: If you defeat Exarion and UE Exarion again, Eternal Exarion will spawn (Recommended PL: 3-4 Billion).

Ultra Instinct: The Labyrinth

Visit Whis and give him the Instant Ramen Cup-o-Noodle. Ask for his recommendation, and he will task you with killing Kid Buu. Return to Whis afterward to proceed.

Enter the Labyrinth and speak to the Guardian dressed as an angel. Give Whis’s recommendation to begin the trials:

1. Trial 1: Gatekeeper of Knowledge
   Match items with the correct NPCs. If unsure, give each item to NPCs until you succeed.
2. Trial 2: Solve a Riddle
   "What does man love more than life, hate more than death or mortal strife, that which contented men desire, the poor have, the rich require, the miser spends, the spendthrift saves, and all men carry to their graves?"
   Answer: Nothing
3. Trial 3: Temporalis (PL: 500,000,000)
   Defeating Temporalis spawns UI Temporalis. Clear mobs in the area to avoid being overwhelmed during the fight. Afterward, return to Whis to learn Ultra Instinct.

Optional: A second victory over UI Temporalis spawns Eternal Temporalis.

Enrage and Overdrive

For Majins/Bioandroids (Enrage) or Androids (Overdrive), follow the same process for Ultra Ego or Ultra Instinct. After defeating UE Exarion or UI Temporalis, return to Beerus or Whis to learn the skill.
