Frieza's Spaceship Quest Guide
Location: Planet Namek
Reward: Boss loot drops and up to 30 million Zenni
"This was a fun quest for me, I give it a 9/10 merely cause sometimes Frieza's battle armor isn't in the locker." - Aroun
Step 1: Entering the Spaceship
When you enter Frieza's spaceship, you'll encounter Appule, who says you'll have to defeat him to proceed. Kill him to obtain the Med-Mix Capsule, then find the closed east exit. The capsule should automatically unlock the door, allowing you to enter the ship.
Step 2: Finding Taiko
Head east to find Taiko. He’ll ask if you're part of the Frieza Force or seeking revenge. Say "revenge" and listen to him carefully. He will mention four module rooms locked by passwords: Power, Steering, Communications, and Engine. Begin killing Ginyu Force Elites to gather passwords.
Step 3: Frieza's Battle Armor
Make your way to the top of the ship to find Puipui. Killing him will provide a password to Frieza's room. Inside, you'll find a locker that may contain Frieza's Battle Armor. If it's not there, wait for the area to reset and kill Puipui again until the armor appears.
Step 4: The Engine Module
Once you have the Battle Armor, head to the Engine Module room at the bottom east of the ship. Wearing the armor grants access. Inside, you'll meet an engineer who asks you to "search" for the Engine Module Access Card. The card can be found anywhere in the Engine Module, but you may need a password (Kinitiras) to access certain areas.
Once you have the card, return it to the engineer. He will give you a duplicate access card and an Engineer Uniform. He’ll then direct you to the Steering Module in the upper west side of the ship.
Step 5: The Steering Module
Wear the Engineer Uniform and head south to meet the Technician. Use the password Dief to enter. Before entering, you may want to obtain an Evermore Fusion Cell (a rare drop from Exraion).
Follow the prompts inside the Steering Module and repair the equipment if prompted. Once complete, return to the Technician, who will direct you to a rejuvenation chamber to find a dying man.
Step 6: The Dying Man
In the rejuvenation chamber, you’ll meet a dying man who tasks you with killing Dodoria. Sense for Dodoria, defeat him, and return to the dying man. He will give you a note and the Communication Access Card. Head to the Communications Module in the south-western part of the ship.
Step 7: The Communications Module
Use the password Epikoin to enter. Follow the NPC’s prompts and give him the note. He will direct you to the Power Module.
Step 8: The Power Module
Use the password Exousia to enter. Inside, an NPC will request the following items:
- A Lump of Dark Matter - Dropped by Magus
- Tufftech X45 Battery - Dropped by Truffle Scientists
- Premium Circuit Board - Purchased from Ricktor’s Hardware Store (Item #7)
Once you have all three items, return to the Power Module. The NPC will upgrade the module and provide a duplicate access card. Return to the Communications Room to progress.
Step 9: Confronting Zarbon
Once you have all four duplicate access cards, head west to confront Zarbon. He will request the cards in a specific order. After realizing they are duplicates, he will attack. Defeat Zarbon to obtain his eye and the Bridge Access Card.
Step 10: The Final Bosses
Use the Bridge Access Card to proceed to the top of the ship. After passing biometrics (type "biometrics"), you will face the following:
- Guldo - Play Rock, Paper, Scissors to proceed
- Jeice, Recoome, and Burter - Recommended to kill one at a time, leaving Jeice for last
- Captain Ginyu - Spawns after Jeice’s death
- Frieza - Two forms: Gold and Black
Defeating Frieza completes the quest. He drops Jagged Sleeves, Golden Inlays, and 20-30 million Zenni.
